Extensive Client SupportWith an in-house IT and programming department, Patternworks research and development team is producing custom applications and web access pages to provide our clients with the up to the minute online tracking information, two way pattern history logging, spec package reporting, quality control form generation, online design development project entry and file upload services. Across the street or around the globe, our clients have the ability to generate Spec Reports dynamically for on-screen viewing or exported to a variety of formats, ready for production.
PatternsOur pattern making staff have years of experience in many areas of apparel including childrens, men and women wear, from jeans to draped dresses. Since our staff has experience in both first and production patterns, we work one on one with your designer to create patterns that are production friendly. All patterns are either entered or created in our computer systems for increased accuracy, ease of modification and quick access. We utilize one of the leading computer systems in the apparel industry both in the United States and overseas. This enables our clients to have the added advantage of instant transfer of patterns through the web to domestic or overseas contractors.
GradingOur state of the art computer equipment, combined with the vast knowledge of our grading department, enables us to turn graded patterns quickly and accurately. Our experienced staff can follow your own existing grade rules, or work with you to establish your own grade rules based on an analysis of your sample size and your specific target market. Our extensive reference library is kept updated so that we are able to provide our clients with the most current body size information available. A graded nest with all pieces will be provided to you for your approval. Once approved, the pattern is ready for marking, or may be sent via the internet to your overseas contractor.
MarkingState of the art equipment combined with an extensive knowledge of cutting room techniques enable us to create highly efficient markers, designed to eliminate errors and reduce fabric costs. Large company or small, Patternworks will work with you to create a marker aimed at providing maximum efficiency customized to your needs. Computer markers are readily available for reprints, may be sent to your automated cutter, or sent overseas via the internet.
Spec SheetsWe work with your production department to develop a spec sheet package customized to your needs. A spec sheet package may include complex technical skeches, pattern and/or garment measurements, methods of measurements charts, embroidery/screen and label placements. We can post your spec sheets in a secured areas on our web server so all who are permitted access will have the most current information available. Centralizing information can reduce the product development cycle by increasing communication between the design and production teams, helping to prevent costly errors.
Prototype SewingWith an in-house sewing room, we can produce prototype samples ready for fitting tests or any other instances where the completed sewn garment can be of use.
Video ConferencingPatternworks has a dedicated T1-speed internet connection for high speed video conferencing. Distant clients can now participate in remote fit sessions from the comfort of their offices.
